About the service
Charge Settlement is the process when a business must notify the Registrar in writing, using e-form CHG-4, of the payment or satisfaction in full of any fee reported under this Chapter within 30 days of the payment or satisfaction.

Why is filing Charge Settlement important?
-If the charge fulfilment is not filed within 300 days, the company's only choice is to file a compounding application with the ministry of corporate affairs' regional director or some other office as MCA may authorise in due course.
